(Interamerican Institute for Democracy) The group of dictatorships led by Cuba and made up by Venezuela and Nicaragua that still maintains its structures in Ecuador and Bolivia, has received reinforcement and marks the return of Argentina, as an active member, to its midst with the ascension to power of Alberto Fernandez and Christina Kirchner. From the time of the presidential swearing-in, this past 10th of December, the facts point out that Argentina openly supports the dictatorships and its return to Castrochavist politics of the Nestor and Christina Kirchner’s previous governments. With the Coronavirus’ pandemic and the dictatorships’ attacks, it is important to have it clear whether Argentina with Fernandez and Kirchner has gone back to the Castrochavism that conspires against democracies of the Americas.
Cuba’s protection to Christina Kirchner was pivotal in avoiding the advancement of judicial prosecution for corruption against her daughter Florencia who underwent “a medical treatment” in Cuba where she remains far away from the reach of justice. The cases of the Kirchner (K) corruption, revealed by investigations and publicly demonstrated facts, continue to be constrained and changes to these cases, prompted by the power and influence of Fernandez and Kirchner, for the benefit of those accused and detained are so blatantly obvious as scandalous.
During the presidential terms of Nestor and Christina Kirchner, from 2003 to 2015, Argentina was an active member of the “ALBA” project, of the “Bolivarian” movement, was in the ranks of the so-called “21st Century Socialism” and was part of Castrochavism, a group of Transnational Organized Crime that converted politics into a cover-up for the development and operation of a criminal and oppressive system. It is known that Nestor Kirchner’s climb to power would not have been possible without Castro’s and Chavez’s backing. The latter “Antonini Wilson” case corroborates this. Kirchnerism is the right-hand of Castrochavism and it is, once again, in power.
The list of guests to the swearing-in of Alberto Fernandez and Christina Kirchner was one other demonstration of the new Argentinean government’s position regarding Castrochavism. Dictators from Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua were invited, to the point of causing an incident due to the previous Argentinean recognition of Juan Guaido as Venezuela’s legitimate president, who was not invited.
Other invited guests were former dictators; Rafael Correa from Ecuador, who attended and Evo Morales from Bolivia. All former presidents of the Castrochavism’s system, such as Lula and Rousseff, were invited. They also made it public knowledge they were not inviting Bolivia’s President Jeanine Añez due to what Castrochavism doctrine’s worn-out cliché calls “her intervention in internal affairs” suggesting she had ascended to power through a coup d-etat against Evo Morales, deliberately ignoring that the coca-leaf harvester president had resigned and fled to Argentina and who Fernandez and Kirchner now have under their protection, while Morales continues to openly conspire to topple Bolivia’s interim government.
Fernandez and Kirchner’s government steered Argentina’s international policies to secure the protection of Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua’s dictatorships, to end Argentina’s membership in the Group of Lima, to disavow by facts and actions the legitimate President of Venezuela, and to not recognize Guaido’s envoy as Ambassador. Argentina is now an operative of the Forum of Sao Paulo and in this new capacity participates in the so-called Group of Puebla, to provide cover to the dictatorships and attack democracies using the alibi of “the left against the right”, when in reality it is protecting the violation of human rights, the existence of narco-states, and the daily commission of crime to oppress the nations they claim to defend.
Meanwhile, true to what has happened under Kirchner governments, Argentina has again been taken to “default” after not being able to pay $503 million dollars, and it now pretends to come up to a title’s restructuring agreement for over $65 billion dollars. Authoritarianism grows to maintain the new government’s popularity; the productive sectors and the destruction of the middle class are, again, the objective.
The distraction created by the Coronavirus pandemic seems to prevent to see that Argentina is the new political and territorial base for conspiracy against democracies in the southern cone and a direct threat to topple, or in any way remove, Bolivia’s interim government. Democratic governments from Chile, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, those who the Castrochavist Kirchnerism considers to be from “the right”, are under threats and efforts to destabilize them. The threatened leadership must, at least, reconcile the reality that Argentina with Fernandez and Kirchner has actively gone back to Castrochavism and is now a platform against the democracies of the Americas.
